Atkins Herefords

Atkins Herefords was started in 1971 by Alvin, Marguerite and Peter Atkins. Performance testing began in 1975. Atkins Herefords is now owned by Peter and Laura Atkins and their family.  We focus on producing functional, high performing cattle with the style and balance to compete in the show ring and the soundness and functionality to work for the commercial cattleman. We maintain a select herd of females and utilize AI and embryo transplant to capitalize on the best genetics available. We are proud of our long term partnership with our good friends Jerry and Michelle Delaney and their family at Lake Benton Minnesota. Through this partnership we have been able to produce herd sires and foundation females being used in herds across North America. Our annual bull sale is held with the Delaney's at their farm February each year. We also hold a female sale each fall
